Jackson Gorcey

Jackson Gorcey has extensive experience in executive recruiting and human resources, most recently serving as the Head of Executive Recruiting Research, Insights, Services, and Experience (RISE) at Google from January 2021 to March 2024. In this role, Gorcey built and led a world-class team responsible for sourcing executive talent and providing market intelligence across all product areas and functions at Google. Prior positions include Executive Recruiting Lead for Cloud Sales and Head of Executive Recruiting for Google Public Sector, as well as Market HR Lead for key locations during the COVID-19 pandemic. Gorcey’s earlier career includes roles as Director of Research at Egon Zehnder, Managing Director at Janou Pakter Global Executive Search, and Head of Research at Michelle Stuhl & Company, Inc. Gorcey holds a Master of Music from Indiana University Bloomington and has completed doctoral studies in Musicology/Ethnomusicology at the University of North Texas.
