Laura Sheridan has extensive experience in the legal field, particularly in intellectual property and patent law. Beginning as a Technology Specialist at Fish & Neave from 2000 to 2004, Laura then served as Counsel at WilmerHale from 2004 to May 2011. In June 2011, Laura joined Google as Senior Patent Counsel, additionally assuming the role of Head of Patent Policy in January 2020. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University (1996-2000) and a Juris Doctor degree from Fordham University School of Law (2001-2005).
