Mustafa Korkmaz

Mustafa Korkmaz is a Software Engineer at Google, specializing in System Infrastructure and Performance since May 2021. Prior to this role, Mustafa completed a Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Waterloo, focusing on Energy-Efficient Transaction Scheduling in Data Systems, from December 2013 to March 2021. Mustafa's experience also includes an internship at Google in GCP and another at Microsoft, where the focus was on Cosmos. Additionally, Mustafa holds an M.Sc. from Bilkent University, completed in December 2012, and a Bachelor's Degree from TOBB Ekonomi ve Teknoloji Üniversitesi, attained in 2010.
