Naghmeh R. is an experienced research scientist and technical lead at Google since February 2021, where contributions include the successful development and launch of the company's first conversational personal health agent, with a focus on Generative AI, Agentic AI, multi-agent orchestration, machine learning, personalization, and synthetic data. Prior to Google, Naghmeh worked as a staff data scientist at Fitbit from February 2020 to February 2021, leading personalized health research and authoring influential papers on health patterns during lockdowns. Naghmeh was a senior data scientist at Illumina from May 2018 to February 2020, pioneering AI and machine learning models in clinical genomics, and began the career as a health data science fellow at Insight Data Science, developing AI tools for disease diagnosis in pets. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Physics from Simon Fraser University.
