Nicholas C. Rubin

Nicholas C. Rubin is a Research Scientist at Google, with prior experience at Rigetti Quantum Computing and the University of Chicago where Nicholas completed a PhD in Theoretical Chemistry. Nicholas has worked as a Graduate Student in the Mazziotti Group, focusing on reduced-density-matrix methods, quantum spin-liquids, and high-temperature superconductivity. Earlier experience includes a role as a Research Assistant in the Boulatov Group at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where Nicholas synthesized molecular force probes, as well as internships at Sandia National Laboratories and Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
