🦝 Paul Ruiz

Paul Ruiz, MBA, is a Senior Developer Relations Engineer at Google since August 2019, specializing in machine learning for mobile and IoT applications. With a strong track record of delivering over 100 presentations on topics such as on-device machine learning and Firebase, Paul effectively engages thousands of developers. Prior to Google, Paul held positions at Workday as a Software Development Engineer III, leading key features in the Android suite, and at Sphero, where significant contributions included developing the mobile communication layer for the successful BB-8 robot and creating an augmented reality feature. Earlier experience at SportsLabs involved serving as the solo Android engineer for the inaugural College Football Playoffs app, which gained a user base of over 50,000. Paul holds an MBA from the University of Northern Colorado and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from California State University, Fresno.
