Prasana Kannan is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in developing user interfaces and component libraries. Prasana contributed significantly to the development of PayPal's UI design system while working as a Senior Software Engineer from June 2016 to December 2017. Following this, Prasana held senior engineering roles at Symantec and Tessian, where responsibilities included working on complex software solutions. In February 2024, Prasana joined Proofpoint as part of the Tessian Group, continuing until June 2025, then transitioned to a Senior UX Engineer position at Google in September 2025.
