Raja Krishnaswamy

Raja Krishnaswamy is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and infrastructure management. Currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering at Google since June 2022, Raja is focused on the BigQuery Core Platform, particularly in data sharing and privacy-preserving collaborative solutions. Prior to this role, Raja held the position of Director of Engineering at Snowflake, overseeing global platform management and data infrastructure. Raja's impressive tenure at Microsoft spanned over 25 years, during which multiple leadership roles were undertaken, including Partner Software Engineering Director for Azure Core and .NET, as well as Principal Group Engineering Manager and Senior Software Engineer. Raja holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the Motilal Nehru National Institute Of Technology.
