Shota Elkanishvili

Shota Elkanishvili is a software engineer at Google, working on Gemini Code Assist since September 2023. In addition, Shota serves as Vice Chairman of the Georgian AI Association, promoting AI literacy and business integration in Georgia. Previous experience includes roles as a data science lecturer at Tbilisi School of Communication, machine learning engineer at Theneo, assistant lecturer at Kutaisi International University, and a software engineering contractor at Microsoft. Shota has also contributed to the Bank of Georgia as an internship program mentor and data scientist, and has experience as a teaching assistant and game developer. Shota holds a bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Free University of Tbilisi and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Machine Learning at Georgia Institute of Technology.
