Siemen Dhooghe is a Postdoctoral Researcher at COSIC (KU Leuven) since October 2017, focusing on countermeasures against side channel attacks on hardware. Additionally, Siemen Dhooghe has held an FWO Fellowship at the Research Foundation Flanders since January 2019 and has experience coaching project students at Academics for Development from 2016 to 2018, where a project was developed for an electronic record-keeping system at St. Theresa Mission Hospital in Zambia. Experience includes an internship at NXP Semiconductors in 2016, developing an open-source tool, and working on the LWE algorithm at KU Leuven. Siemen Dhooghe holds a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from KU Leuven and has completed a Master's degree in Mathematical Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the same institution, along with a Master's degree in Mathematics from Université de Bordeaux.
