Tanmay Govil

Tanmay Govil is an experienced Machine Learning Engineer and Data Scientist with a strong background in developing and optimizing advanced deep learning frameworks for recommendation systems and search relevance. At ShareChat, Tanmay implemented a Multi-Task Monolith Deep Learning framework, achieving significant improvements in Relative Cross Entropy and inference latency. Tanmay continued to excel at Zepto, where a two-tower transformer-based embedding model was designed and deployed, enhancing search relevance and personalization. Previous roles include a Software Development Intern at Trell, where Tanmay built NLP and ML models, and a Project Intern at Bosch India. Tanmay holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. Currently, Tanmay serves as a Software Engineer III in AI/ML at Google.
