Tony Faranesh

Tony Faranesh is a seasoned research scientist with extensive experience in biomedical engineering, particularly in MRI technology and applications. Faranesh served as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Radiology at Stanford University from July 2005 to July 2007, focusing on image acquisition and analysis methods for breast cancer evaluation. The career progressed with a role as a Research Scientist at Fitbit from September 2016 to February 2021, followed by a current position as a Research Scientist at Google since February 2021. Prior experience includes working as a Pre-IRTA Research Fellow and Staff Scientist at the National Institutes of Health, where Faranesh contributed to developing biodegradable drug delivery systems and new MRI-guided cardiovascular interventional procedures.
