Varun Naik is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in developing and optimizing software solutions. Varun began an internship at Redfin in 2014, building backend and UI systems, and later served as an undergraduate student instructor at UC Berkeley, leading discussions in database systems. Varun gained further experience during internships at LinkedIn and Asana, where contributions included developing processes for data management and enhancing frameworks. At Zendesk, Varun implemented role-based access control and participated in the interview process for new hires. Currently, Varun is contributing to Cloud Spanner at Google.
