Yanick Fratantonio

Yanick Fratantonio is a Senior Research Scientist at Google, focusing on systems security with expertise in mobile security, reverse engineering, malware analysis, vulnerability detection, and web security. Yanick's research has identified systemic flaws in mobile devices and developed techniques for analyzing malware across different operating systems. Previously, Yanick served as an Assistant Professor at EURECOM and a Senior Security Researcher at Cisco Talos. They earned a PhD from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and have published over 30 peer-reviewed papers. Yanick has recently launched a mobile security course available to the public and is actively involved in the CTF community.
