Zhijian Yang

Zhijian Yang is a Research Scientist at Google, currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Applied Math and Computational Science at the University of Pennsylvania. Their research centers on machine learning for healthcare, with a specific focus on developing deep learning models to address disease heterogeneity using medical imaging and genomic data. Prior to their current role at Google, Zhijian worked as an AI Research Scientist at GE HealthCare and as a researcher at the Center for Biomedical Image Computing and Analytics. Zhijian also completed research internships at the Institute for Pure and Applied Mathematics and the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences.
