Anthony Price

Dr. Anthony Price serves as the district’s chief operations officer. He assists the superintendent in providing district leadership as well as directs the facility's operations and support services. Price oversees the management of facilities as well as maintenance, the warehouse, child nutrition, and transportation operations of the district. Price holds a degree in electronic engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology and served as a biomedical and aerospace engineer before starting his career in education 25 years ago. He earned a master’s degree from Texas Women’s University and a Ph.D. from Walden University. He came to GCCISD in 2015 from Rosebud-Lott ISD, whereas superintendent, he helped the district meet standards in all areas and emerge as a leading technology-equipped district. He also served as an administrator with Everman ISD, Arlington ISD, and Ft. Worth ISD. Price began his career in education 25 years ago as a math teacher with Ft. Worth ISD.
