Wendy Kloeppner

Wendy Kloeppner currently serves as Senior Counsel at Goosmann Law Firm since July 2024. Prior to this role, Wendy held the position of State's Attorney for Lake County, South Dakota from February 2018 to July 2024, and previously served as State's Attorney and Deputy State's Attorney in Hughes County, South Dakota, from June 2009 to February 2018. Wendy began their legal career as a Deputy State's Attorney in Meade County, South Dakota from February 2007 to June 2009. Wendy earned a Juris Doctor degree in Constitutional Law from the University of South Dakota, School of Law in 1998, and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Bemidji State University in 1995.
