Thomas Pieper possesses extensive experience in international development, particularly focusing on digital transformation, education, and project management. Currently serving as a short-term expert on digital transformation at GOPA Consultants since August 2018, Thomas has led various significant projects, including developing curricula for WASH in Kurdistan, advising on climate-smart agriculture in Zambia, and overseeing digital transformation initiatives in Indonesia. Prior to this, Thomas worked as a senior project manager and project manager for organizations such as the European Commission, GIZ, MCC, and USAID, as well as serving as a freelance consultant and graduate student. Thomas holds a Master of Science in Development Management from The London School of Economics and Political Science and has a robust background with notable roles at Novartis and Accenture, highlighting a solid foundation in business administration and management.
