Michelle Calizto

Michelle Calizto is a seasoned mechanical design engineer with extensive experience in designing hydraulic systems and skidder equipment for forestry applications. Currently at Gorbel Inc. since January 2022, Michelle also serves as the engineering team leader at Shred-Tech® and has a long tenure with Tigercat Industries, focusing on the skidder group. Prior roles include senior mechanical designer at ENGINEERED LIFTING SYSTEMS, LLC, and mechanical/hydraulic designer at Mining Technologies International. Early career experience includes positions as a mechanical detailer at Exco Technologies Limited and drafter/detailer at Convoy Custom Interiors Inc. Michelle holds an advanced diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Technology from Sheridan College and has been a certified engineering technologist since 2015.
