Gyözö Gidofalvi has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Gyözö is currently the CEO, CSO, and Founder of Gordian, a company they established in 2020. Prior to starting Gordian, they served as the ITRL Program Leader for Urban Goods Distribution and Efficient Transport Concepts at ITRL - Integrated Transport Research Lab (KTH) from 2017 onwards.

From 2015 to 2017, Gyözö Gidofalvi worked as an Associate Professor at KTH | Kungliga Tekniska högskolan, where they were responsible for three topics within Geoinformatics. Gyözö'srole included supervising Master and Ph.D. students.

From 2004 to 2008, Gyözö Gidofalvi held an industrial Ph.D. student position at Aalborg University, Dept. of Computer Science (DPT). During this time, they conducted research as a data miner, focusing on extending popular data mining methods to the spatio-temporal domain and eliminating privacy concerns in spatio-temporal data mining for location-based services.

Before their time at Aalborg University, Gyözö Gidofalvi worked as a Data Miner and Industrial Ph.D. student at Geomatic ApS - Center for Geoinformatic from 2004 to 2007. Gyözö'sresponsibilities included designing and optimizing ETL and data analysis processes, implementing spatial clustering, and performing geo-demographic analysis tasks.

Gyözö Gidofalvi began their career as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at UC San Diego, Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering (AI) from 2001 to 2003. During this time, they focused on mining and analyzing financial text and time series data.

Starting in 1997, Gyözö Gidofalvi worked at San Diego State University, where they held various roles such as Teaching Assistant, Workshop Facilitator, MCAT Prep Course Instructor, and Tutor until 2000.

Gyözö Gidofalvi also gained industry experience as a Testing Intern at System Design Group (SDG) Inc. from 1998 to 1999.
