Hikaru Miyazaki

Scientist 2 at Gordian Biotechnology

Hikaru Miyazaki has worked as a Scientist 2 at Gordian Biotechnology since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Scientist at the same company from December 2021 to December 2022. Before their time at Gordian Biotechnology, Hikaru Miyazaki was a Bioengineering PhD student at the University of California, San Francisco from August 2015 to December 2021. During their PhD studies, they focused on understanding the physical forces and mechanisms underlying the morphogenesis of the intestine during development.

Hikaru Miyazaki completed their high school education at UWC-USA, where they earned a High School Diploma with an International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum. They then went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), graduating in 2015. Afterward, Hikaru enrolled at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) in 2015 and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering in 2021.
