Joud Sabouni

Joud Sabouni is a highly skilled researcher with extensive experience in molecular neuro-oncology and clinical diagnostics. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist 2 at Sygnature Discovery since April 2022, Joud previously held roles as Senior Scientist 1 and Scientist within the same organization. In addition, a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Nottingham since February 2021, Joud focuses on characterizing patient-derived in vitro models of infiltrative glioblastoma. A background in teaching and laboratory instruction includes positions as a Laboratory Teaching Assistant at the University of Central Lancashire and a Teaching Assistant at Ebla Private University. Early career experience as a Laboratory Scientist at Aleppo University Hospital involved diagnostic testing and specimen analysis. Joud holds a PhD in Molecular Neuro-Oncology from the University of Lancashire, along with an MSc in Laboratory Diagnosis and a BSc in Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Aleppo University.
