Vice President of Product Management at Gordian Software

Kevin O'Neill has a diverse work experience spanning over 18 years. Kevin is currently working as the Vice President of Product Management at Gordian Software since June 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Product Strategy | Execution Consultant at KMO Consulting, where they empowered early-stage teams and founders to achieve growth and product-market fit. Kevin also served as a Mentor at First Round Fast Track and a New Grads Mentor at the University of Toronto.

In their previous roles, Kevin held key leadership positions in product management. As the Vice President of Product Management at Splash from October 2018 to February 2023, they modernized Splash's product management culture and facilitated the transition from a scrappy startup to a stable and repeatable growth engine. Before that, they were the Vice President of Product Management at Rocketrip, where they built the entire technology team and played a crucial role in the development of the B2B2C travel management tool.

Kevin's earlier experiences include working as the Vice President of Product Development at Destiny Solutions Inc., where they focused on establishing a differentiated vision and managed a cross-functional team. Kevin also served as the Development Director at Infor, supporting the transition post-acquisition and managing a large development team of 150 people. Prior to that, they worked at Workbrain, where they held roles as a Development Manager, Software Development Team Lead, and Software Engineer. In these roles, they were responsible for the development and maintenance of labor forecasting and scheduling optimization modules.

Starting their career at Sapient as a Senior Software Engineer, Kevin led a team responsible for delivering custom solutions to clients and ensuring optimal delivery processes.

Throughout their career, Kevin has demonstrated their expertise in product management, team leadership, and strategic planning.

Kevin O'Neill attended the University of Toronto from 1995 to 2001, where they earned a BSC degree in Computer Science. Kevin also obtained a certification in Chief Product Officer Fundamentals from CPO Accelerator in May 2022.
