John Mays, MBA, has extensive work experience in various leadership roles related to product management, strategy, and innovation. John is currently serving as the Senior Director of Global Product Management (Private Equity) at Schumacher Electric Corporation since May 2023. Prior to this, from 2015 to 2023, they worked as the Lead Consultant for Brand-Product Management at Buckeye Product Consultants, where they focused on strategy, lifecycle, innovation, marketing, and improvement. Mays also served as the Director of Global Product Management (Private Equity) at Portacool, LLC from 2020 to 2022. Before that, they worked as the Director of Product Management (Private Equity) at Danco, Inc. from 2018 to 2019. John also held the position of General Manager and VP of Product Management (Private Equity) at Ohio Green Solutions from 2015 to 2018. Furthermore, Mays gained valuable experience as the Senior Global Product Manager & Innovation Leader at Nalco Champion, An Ecolab Company from 2014 to 2015 and as the Senior Product Manager & Innovation Leader - North America at Lennox International from 2013 to 2014. John started their career at Procter & Gamble in 2006, initially in a role focused on manufacturing engineering, then transitioning to the roles of Associate Brand Manager and Licensing Leader, Global Packaging Leader, and Manufacturing Engineering. Prior to joining Procter & Gamble, Mays also served as the General Manager at Buckeye Services from 2001 to 2013. Throughout their career, Mays has demonstrated their expertise in product management and their ability to successfully drive innovation and growth in multiple industries.

John Mays, MBA, completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial Engineering at The Ohio State University from 2001 to 2006. John later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General at the University of Dayton between 2008 and 2010.
