Jon Burbee

Jon Burbee has a diverse work experience spanning over several organizations and roles. Jon is currently the Director of Business Development, Canada at Gordian, a company specializing in facility and construction cost data, software, and services. Prior to this, Jon held executive positions at the Province of British Columbia, including Executive Director for Strategic Services at Service BC and Executive Director for Asset Management in the Real Property Division. Jon also served as an Honourary Aide-de-Camp at the Office of the Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia. Jon's earlier experience includes managerial roles at the Department of National Defence and the Canadian Forces, where they served as a Construction Engineering Officer and led various engineering support, strategic planning, and property management initiatives.

Jon Burbee, RI completed a Diploma in Urban Land Economics at UBC Sauder School of Business from 2015 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Masters of Defence Studies from the Royal Military College of Canada/Collège militaire royal du Canada in 2006-2007, specializing in National and International Security, Executive Leadership, Public Policy, and Strategic Planning. In 1988-1992, they earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physics and Oceanography from Royal Roads Military College. Additionally, Jon has obtained the designation of Real Estate Professional (RI) from the Real Estate Institute of British Columbia.
