Mike Erkens

Mike Erkens has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Mike started their career as an Order Selector at BI-LO, Inc in 1998. Mike then worked as an Office Services Operator at Ahold Information Services from July 2000 to March 2001. Following this, they became an Expense Analyst at the same company, responsible for preparing budgets, analyzing costs, and auditing invoices until July 2004. From July 2004 to July 2005, they worked as a Line Cost Auditor at NuVox Communications, where they audited and processed invoices, managed disputes, and reviewed contracts. Mike then joined BI-LO, LLC in July 2005, first as a Financial Analyst and later became a Senior Financial Analyst. In this role, they managed IT financial and administrative support functions, supervised budgeting and financial tracking, and oversaw several cost centers and capital projects. Mike Erkens then moved to Metromont Corporation in August 2012 as a Senior Financial Analyst. Mike'sresponsibilities included analyzing financial data and reporting. In 2014, they joined Gordian as a Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis, gradually progressing into more senior roles. Mike became the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis in January 2018, the Finance Director for JOC Operations in February 2020, the Senior Director of Finance for JOC Operations in April 2022, and assumed the role of Director of Operations in the Southeast in January 2024.

Mike Erkens attended the University of South Carolina Upstate from 1999 to 2003 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
