Fernando A Vazquez, P.E. has extensive experience in the field of water resources and infrastructure. Their most recent role is as the Director of Operations for TYLin, where they oversee operations in the Southeast US and LATAM. Prior to this, they served as a Council Member for the Village of Key Biscayne. From 2019 to 2022, they worked at AECOM as the Vice President in charge of Southeast Water Senior Business Development, responsible for developing new business in water and wastewater in the Southeast Region and LATAM. Before that, they held the position of Senior Vice President at CES CONSULTANTS, INC. from 2015 to 2019. Fernando A also has experience at Jacobs as the Business Leader for Water Infrastructure in South Florida from 2013 to 2015. Earlier in their career, they held roles at the City of Miami Beach, City of Dania Beach, FL, City of Fort Lauderdale, Kleinfelder, and Halcrow, where they managed various projects and provided expertise in water and wastewater management.

Fernando A. Vazquez, P.E. obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Ocean Engineering from Florida Institute of Technology, completing their studies between 1981 and 1987. Prior to that, they attended Bridgton Academy for a post-graduate program in 1980-1981. In 2016, Vazquez received a certification in Public Policy and Planning from Harvard University.
