Ken Moore

Chairman at Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation

Ken Moore joined the foundation’s board of trustees in 2002 and has been on the staff of the foundation for more than 20 years. Most recently, Ken served as both chief administrative officer and chief program officer for the Bay Area. He previously served as director of evaluation, information technology, and facilities, and as research director.

Previously, Ken spent a quarter century in management positions in the high-tech industry at Signetics Corporation and most recently at Philips Semiconductors as the director of global supply chain logistics and customer fulfillment (APICS CPIM certified).

Ken co-founded and has served as 10-year board president of the Bullis Charter School, one of the top-10 highest performing public schools in California. He also serves on the boards of the Exploratorium, the California Institute of Technology, the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, and the Moore Family Foundation.
