Chris Edwards

Chris Edwards has extensive experience in the asset management and disposition industry. Chris is currently working as the Director of Deals & Origination at Gordon Brothers, where they specialize in asset valuations, remarketing, and asset-backed investments. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Territory Sales Manager at Ritchie Bros., where they provided end-to-end solutions for buying and selling used heavy equipment and other assets. Chris also served as the Director of Sales at HMR Auction Services Inc. and HMR Philippines, Inc., where they gained expertise in asset valuation, advisory, and re-marketing. In addition, Chris has held various roles at Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers, including New Business Development Manager, General Manager, Regional Sales Manager, and Chief Representative. Chris began their career as an Assistant Marketing Manager at Kord Party Favour Mfy Ltd and Editor of English Publications at the Korea Foreign Trade Association.

Chris Edwards (爱德华) attended Ridgefield High School from 1985 to 1987. Chris then studied at South Kent School from 1983 to 1985. After high school, they enrolled in St. Andrews University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from 1987 to 1991. In 1989, they attended Beijing Foreign Languages Normal College and completed a Beginner Chinese Language program. Additionally, Chris received a Certificate of Completion in Korean from Hanmi Foreign Language Institute. Chris has also obtained several certifications, including PSEM Minerals Industry Symposium (MIS2022) from XPERTO, Concussion Management in General Public from World Rugby, First Aid in Rugby Level 1 from World Rugby, and Rugby Ready from World Rugby.
