Kevin Xu

Kevin Xu has extensive work experience in the investment banking and legal industries. Kevin currently works as a Vice President at Gordon Dyal & Co. Advisory Group LP, where they have been since October 2020. Prior to this role, they held the position of Associate at the same company from March 2019 to October 2020. Before joining Gordon Dyal & Co., Kevin worked as an Associate in Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs from July 2017 to March 2019. Kevin also had a summer internship at Goldman Sachs in 2016. In the legal field, Kevin worked as an Associate in Corporate and M&A at Barack Ferrazzano Kirschbaum & Nagelberg LLP from September 2011 to July 2015, and at Reed Smith LLP from January 2010 to September 2011. Kevin also had summer internships with Morrison & Foerster LLP in 2008 and Reed Smith LLP in 2007. Furthermore, Kevin gained early professional experience as a Summer Analyst at ExxonMobil in 2006.

Kevin Xu completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.), summa cum laude, in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan in 2006. Kevin then went on to earn a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from the University of Michigan Law School in 2009. Later, from 2015 to 2017, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with Honors, specializing in Finance and Accounting, at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
