Emily Root

Emily Root has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Emily started their career as a Clerical Assistant at Lunar Corporation in 1998 and worked there until 2000. Emily then joined GE Healthcare as a Sales Data Analyst from 2000 to 2007. In 2011, they became a Captioning Assistant at Captel, Inc. and worked there until 2013. In 2014, they took on the role of a Clerk at Selective Video II for a brief period of seven months. At the same time, they also pursued their passion for music and worked as a Musician, specifically as the Lead Singer who played whatever was needed, for the Dead Sea Squirrels. In 2016, they transitioned back into contract management and joined the Gordon Flesch Company as a Contract Coordinator. Emily later advanced to the role of Senior Contract Coordinator in February 2021 and continues to work in that position.

Emily Root completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Anthropology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2000 to 2004. Additionally, they obtained a Certificate in CREECA Studies from the same institution, although the specific start and end dates are unknown.
