Ali Akhtar

Ali Akhtar is an experienced professional in data engineering and business intelligence, currently serving as a Team Manager at Gordon Food Service since September 2019, leading diverse teams and managing data solutions built on Google Cloud Platform. With a background in product ownership and scrum master roles, Ali has successfully implemented data governance, developed metrics for data pipeline health, and facilitated agile practices within the data engineering team. Prior to Gordon Food Service, Ali held various engineering positions at GE Aerospace, contributing to software design and integration for unmanned aircraft and flight management systems, as well as participating in a leadership development program. Ali holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science Engineering from Michigan State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
