Brent A. Robinson

Brent Robinson was born in Beaumont, Texas, and raised in Houma, Louisiana. He served in the United States Air Force in the reserves and on active duty for six years, where he subsequently earned an Air Force Achievement Medal.

After graduating from Louisiana State University in 2004 and working as a professional for several years, he decided to make a career change. With the support of his family and friends, he earned his Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center in 2014, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude while maintaining employment at AT&T. During his stay at Southern, he was an Articles Editor of the Southern University Law Review, published in Southern’s Law Review Journal. He graduated in the top five percent of his class. Brent was also able to directly aid families in need of free legal assistance while participating in Southern’s Tax and Bankruptcy Clinics. In 2014, he received an award for Outstanding Advocacy in the Low Income Tax Clinic. Later, Brent was chosen to work as a summer law clerk at Taylor, Porter, Brooks & Phillips.
