Matteo De Wint

Matteo De Wint has a diverse work experience that spans several years. Matteo started their career as a Software Developer at UAntwerpen in 2013 and worked on various projects. In 2014, they joined Random Harvester BVBA as a Software Developer for a short period. Matteo then returned to UAntwerpen in 2014 and 2015 for similar roles. In 2015, Matteo joined November Five as a Cloud & Automation Developer, where they supported project teams by provisioning cloud infrastructure and developing automation software. During this time, they also gained experience in web backend development, Serverless projects, and rudimentary AI. Currently, Matteo is working at Gorilla as a Software Engineer, focusing on backend services, infrastructure as code, developer tools, and documentation. Matteo enjoys the challenge of greenfield development and constantly exploring new solutions.

Matteo De Wint completed their education in computer science at the University of Antwerp. Matteo obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from 2009 to 2012, followed by a Master's Degree in the same field from 2012 to 2015. Along with their academic qualifications, they also earned certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS). In 2016, they became an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, and in 2021, they achieved the AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional certification.
