Rhodri James

Rhodri James is the Director of Technology and Operations at Gorilla Group TV, overseeing all technology and operations at Wales's largest broadcast facility group. With a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Swansea University, Rhodri has held various roles in technology development and management at companies such as Boom Cymru, BBC, and Men From Mars. Rhodri's expertise lies in translating editorial and operational objectives into innovative technical proposals and specifications, managing teams through technical design processes, and developing technology strategies. At Boom Cymru, Rhodri serves as Head of Technology, accountable for all technology at one of Wales's largest television production companies. Throughout his career, Rhodri has demonstrated a strong understanding of film and television post-production combined with the application of new technology and IT to design and implement innovative systems.
