Kristian Straton-Andersen

Kristian Straton-Andersen is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in EU and competition law. Currently serving as Managing Counsel at Gorrissen Federspiel since May 2016, Kristian has managed over 100 merger notifications to various regulatory authorities and has streamlined the firm's international merger control process. In addition to legal practice, Kristian has been a part-time lecturer at the University of Copenhagen and previously at Aalborg Universitet, sharing expertise in Competition Law and Unfair Competition. Prior roles include Special Advisor at the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority, where Kristian focused on merger control and litigated significant cases, including one upheld by the Supreme Court. Kristian's legal education culminated in a Master’s Degree in Law from the University of Copenhagen.
