Adam Steele

Adam Steele has a strong background in cybersecurity and network infrastructure, with experience in various roles and industries. Adam began their career as an Enterprise Scheduling Engineer at Invesco in 2012 before moving to NTT DATA Canada as a NOC Technician in 2013. At NTT DATA, they were responsible for monitoring alerts, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing network administration support. In 2014, Adam joined CGI as a Network and Cybersecurity Consultant, where they supported major clients and provided educational services. Adam also designed and implemented infrastructure solutions and adhered to strict auditing and reporting requirements. In 2015, Adam transitioned to Bell as a Network and Cybersecurity Designer, overseeing the design and implementation of network and cybersecurity systems. Adam then joined GoSecure in 2017 as a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst, focusing on advisory services. Currently, Adam is working at Deloitte as the Lead of Cyber Risk Advisory, where they assess and implements security solutions for clients, reviews security-related events, and advises on appropriate technologies and architectures.

Adam Steele attended Holland College from 2000 to 2002, where they obtained a degree in Computer Engineering. Following their formal education, they pursued various additional certifications. In October 2013, they obtained the Cisco CCNA Routing and Switching certification from Cisco. Later, in January 2019, they obtained the Cisco CCNP Routing and Switching certification, also from Cisco. In February 2018, they earned the Trend Micro Deep Security 10 Certified Professional certification from Trend Micro. Additionally, Adam has shown an interest in cybersecurity by pursuing the CSX Cyber Security Fundamentals certification from ISACA, and the NERC CIP certification from the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC).
