Christina Schwarzinger has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Christina started their career in 2006 with an internship at MCE in marketing. Christina then worked as an intern at Tourismusverband Mühlviertler Kernland in 2009. From 2012 to 2015, they worked as an English tutor at EKIZ, Sankt Georgen am Walde and as a German teacher at Lampton School. In 2017, they worked briefly as an English teacher at EF Education First. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a camp counselor at Natuaventura Ocio y Tiempo Libre. Christina then transitioned into the education sector as a German and English teacher at Colegio Villamadrid SCM from 2015 to 2019 and Colegio San Patricio from 2019 to 2020. Since 2020, they have held various roles at GoStudent, including Tutor Community Manager, Team Lead Tutor Recruitment Spain and International Expansion Specialist, International Expansion Specialist/Global Tutor Operation Manager, Head of Tutor Operations (New Markets), and currently, Head of Operations Excellence.
Christina Schwarzinger completed their education as follows:
- From 2018 to 2019, they pursued a Master's in Bilingual Education at Universidad Europea.
- In 2016 and 2017, they attended Universitat Internacional de Catalunya and obtained a degree in Advanced Methodologies for English Teachers.
- In 2015 and 2016, they pursued an Expert in Bilingual Education at Universitat Internacional de Catalunya.
- Christina completed their Bachelor of Education (BEd) specializing in English and History from 2011 to 2014 at Private Pädagogische Hochschule der Diözese Linz and Private University College of Education of the Diocese of Linz.
- Prior to their bachelor's degree, from 2006 to 2011, they attended HBLA für Künstlerische Gestaltung / Vocational college for arts and crafts, where they obtained A-levels (Matura) studying English, History, Art history, German, and Accounting.
- In terms of certifications, Christina obtained Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) from the Educational Ministry of Great Britain in 2015.
- Christina also completed additional certifications such as "Aspectos generales del SARS-CoV-2" and "Risk prevention in workplaces" from Quirónprevención in 2020, "ELE - Spanish as a foreign language (basic course)" from Instituto Cervantes in 2019, and a TEFL course from The TEFL Org in 2015.
