Tyler Ball

Tyler Ball has a solid background in software engineering and management. Tyler is currently working at Swiftly, Inc. as a Senior Engineering Manager since January 2023. Prior to that, they served as an Engineering Manager at Swiftly, Inc. from February 2020 to January 2023. Tyler also has experience as a Software Engineer at Swiftly, Inc. from May 2018 to February 2020.

Before joining Swiftly, Inc., Tyler worked at Whisker Labs as a Lead Frontend Software Engineer from April 2017 to April 2018. Their role involved leading the development of customer-facing applications using Angular, Typescript, D3, and Ionic. Tyler focused on building a dashboard for hardware system management, data visualization, and user management.

From October 2015 to April 2017, Tyler worked at Sungevity as a Software Engineer. Tyler contributed to the development of customer-facing desktop, mobile, and responsive web applications using Angular, Typescript, and D3. Tyler also created mini-applications to test user engagement on the company website.

Tyler's previous experience includes working as an Office Manager/Surgical Assistant at Randal W. Rowland, MS, DMD, MS from June 2011 to October 2015.

Tyler's journey in the field of software engineering began with an apprenticeship at Bloc, Inc. in September 2014. During the immersive web development bootcamp, they gained expertise in HTML, CSS (SASS), Git, JavaScript, and AngularJS. Tyler successfully created four web apps, mostly using AngularJS and a single-page architecture.
