Daniel Eklund

Daniel Eklund has extensive management experience in the energy sector, currently serving as the Director of Operation and Maintenance at Göteborg Energi since January 2018, where responsibilities include overseeing distribution and production plants and developing departmental activities and employee management. Prior to this role, Daniel held several positions at Tekniska verken from 2005 to 2018, progressing from Coordinator for Physical and Financial Trading to Head of Department, focusing on production plant operation and efficiency. Daniel also worked at Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery AB as a Commissioning Engineer/Manager and gained earlier experience as a Production Technician at Toyota Material Handling Europe and a Production Manager at Arla Foods amba. Daniel Eklund holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from The Institute of Technology at Linköping University.
