Matt Michelsen

Matt Michelsen has a diverse work experience. Matt is the Founder and CEO of Gothams, a position they have held since March 2019. Prior to that, they worked as an Advisor at 8VC starting in November 2015. Matt also served as an Advisor at Palantir Technologies from November 2007. Additionally, they founded GothamAlpha in February 2011 and worked there until their role ended recently. Matt also served as a Venture Partner at Arab Angel Fund from October 2017. From June 2019 to February 2022, they worked as an Operating Partner at DCVC (Data Collective). Matt was an Advisor at Formation 8 from August 2011 to December 2017. Lastly, they were a Co-founder at UNX from an unknown start date to September 2010.

Matt Michelsen attended the University of Rhode Island from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Consumer Economics.
