Asif Iqbal

Asif Iqbal is an accomplished engineering and management professional with extensive experience in high-voltage battery systems and automotive manufacturing. Currently serving as Senior Manager of HV Battery Systems at Gotion Inc., Iqbal has held prominent positions at General Motors and Ford Motor Company, where significant contributions included leading the development of FHEV battery packs for the 2020 Ford Explorer and Ford Escape. Prior roles at Stanley Black & Decker and Chrysler strengthened Iqbal's expertise in managing cross-functional teams and launching new automotive programs. Academically, Iqbal holds a Master's in Business Administration and a Master's in Mechanical Engineering from Lawrence Technological University and the University of Detroit Mercy, respectively, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology.
