Michel Grootenboer

Michel Grootenboer serves as the Chief Commercial Officer and Director of Sales & Marketing at Gouda Refractories since August 2010, overseeing sales and after-sales operations. Prior to this role, Michel was the Managing Director at Gouda Projects BV, part of the Andus Group BV, and held the position of Export Sales Manager for NV Gouda Vuurvast, specializing in the petrochemical industry and Middle Eastern markets. With a background in engineering and management, Michel's earlier roles included Team Leader Engineering at Hoogheemraadschap van Delfland and various commercial positions at Van Oord, including Project Manager and General Manager in Southeast Asia. Education includes a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Delft University of Technology and several post-HBO degrees in export management and dredging execution.
