Ashley Day is an entrepreneur and significant employer within North East Victoria, who was born in Benalla and grew up on his family dairy farm in Lima South. Ashley purchased the quarry business in 2007 and has grown the small operation into a successful large-scale quarrying and contracting business that currently employs over 100 people.
Ashley was instrumental in securing and building the Benalla Precast Plant to supply products to the West Gate Tunnel Project. This opportunity has been a great source of employment in the area, securing over 300 jobs for the local community.
