Kristie O'Brien

Kristie has extensive experience in the TAFE sector, having previously been employed with TAFE NSW in a variety of roles over many years.

Most recently before joining GOTAFE, Kristie worked as Special Program Director at TAFE NSW. Prior to this, she undertook several other important roles including leading the organisation through its COVID-19 response, working as the Chief Quality and Product Officer, and as the Head of Education Planning and Service Delivery.

Kristie has expertise as a Vocational Education and Training Executive, with a wealth of knowledge and experience in teaching, product development, strategic planning, government and stakeholder relations, industry and community engagement, and business development across a broad range of industry sectors. Kristie is driven to support organisational change and transformation, with a strong commitment to student experience and outcomes.
