M.D. Rafiqul Islam

Md Rafiqul Islam is currently serving as an Adjunct Associate Professor at the College of Science, Health and Engineering at La Trobe University since June 2021. Prior to this, they were the Director of Research at Goulburn Valley Health starting from September 2015.

Md Rafiqul Islam earned their PhD in Community Medicine & Clinical Epidemiology from the University of Newcastle between 2010 and 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Master in Public Health, specializing in Epidemiology & Biostatistics, from the University of Melbourne, completing it in 2007. In 2019, they enrolled in the MFPH program at the Faculty of Public Health, Royal Colleges of Physicians, in the United Kingdom, where they are currently pursuing a degree in Public Health.
