Nicholas Walne has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Nicholas started their career as a professional rugby player, playing for Richmond Rugby and Cardiff Blues from 1998 to 2005. After that, they worked as a Commercial Banking Officer at HSBC from 2001 to 2005 and as a Private Banking Manager at NatWest in 2006. In 2007 and 2008, they worked as a Senior Research Consultant at CRG Research Limited. From 2009 to 2011, they were a Senior Associate at the Financial Services Authority. Nicholas then moved on to Lifecrown Investments Limited, serving as an Industrial Engineer from 2012 to 2013. Nicholas joined Fenmarc Produce in 2013 and held the roles of Head of Operations from 2013 to 2016 and Operations Director from 2016 to 2017. In 2018, they became a Non-Executive Director at Active Lincolnshire and held the position until 2019. Nicholas'smost recent role was at Gousto, where they served as a Site Manager from 2018 to 2019, and then as an Operations Director from 2019 until the present.
Nicholas Walne earned a Master of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Cambridge in 1997, followed by a Diploma in Management Studies from the same university in 1998.
