John Andrews

John Andrews has worked in the IT industry since 1993. John began their career as an IT Engineer at Veda Systems, followed by a role as Chief Engineer at SPAWAR Systems Center Atlantic in 1997. During their tenure at SPAWAR Systems Center Atlantic, they also served as Staff Engineer, Design and Integration Branch Head, Chief Technology Officer, and Deputy Competency Manager. In 2007, they moved to Sotera Defense Solutions, Inc. as Director of Navy Program Development and Technical Fellow. From 2014 to 2019, they held the position of Vice President of Acquisition and Innovation and Vice President of Business Development at Gov Solutions Group. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Consultant at Private Consulting and as Board Member at AFCEA International Lowcountry Chapter.

John Andrews completed their education history with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Virginia Tech in 1993. John had previously attended Hereford High School from 1985 to 1989. In addition, they have obtained four certifications: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance in 2016, Scrum Master Certified (SMC) from Scrum Alliance in 2016, ITIL FOUNDATION v3 from PEOPLECERT in 2013, and Certified CMMI Associate from CMMI Institute in 2020.
