Scott Starcher has diverse work experience spanning over two companies. Scott started their career at Walkabout Farms Model Horses as a Shipping Manager, where they gained valuable project management experience. Scott excelled in various aspects of business operations, including accounting, inventory control, marketing, order processing, and customer service. In 2006, they transitioned to GovDeals and held several roles. Scott started as a Client Services Representative in the Mid-Atlantic Region, where they collaborated with government entities, provided training and technical support, and doubled in-territory sales over a 5-year period. Scott then advanced to Client Services Supervisor, managing a team of in-territory Client Service Representatives and leading the expansion of GovDeals Canada. Scott continued their growth as Director of Client Services, overseeing a team of Account Managers and Help Desk support staff, and eventually became Senior Director of Client Success. In this role, they reorganized the Client Support Organization, expanded the Help Desk, and took on additional responsibilities for Liquidity Services Commercial Division's Self Directed solutions. Most recently, Scott served as Vice President of Operations at GovDeals.
Scott Starcher earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Sociology and Criminology from Ohio University, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. Scott also obtained a certification in Lean Technology Strategy: Purposeful Organizations from LinkedIn in 2023.
