Heather Murray

Heather Murray has extensive experience in safety management and staff coordination, currently serving as the Safety and Staff Development Coordinator for BC Public Service since July 2017. In this role, Heather leads initiatives within the regional Fire Centre and advises on Occupational Health and Safety policies. Previous experience includes working as a Helicopter Attack Wildfire Fighter, responding to wildfire outbreaks, and serving as a Central Poll Assistant Supervisor for Élections Canada, where management of polling operations was key. Earlier roles include serving as a Server at JOEY Restaurant Group and managing a campaign team at World Vision. Heather holds a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources and Conservation from The University of British Columbia.
